Adekunle Gold reveals why he had a secret wedding with singer, Simi

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Adekunle Kosoko Gold has finally opened up on why he and his wife and singer Simi chose to have a quiet wedding.

Speaking via an exclusive email he sent to blogger Kemi Filani, the Ire crooner said that “ It’s easy to get lost in the limelight” so this caused them to desire a private life/wedding .

AG also revealed that he and singer, Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye, simply known as Simi have been dating for the past 5 years before she said ‘Yes’ to his marriage proposal in 2018.

On the couples new collaboration titled ‘ Promise’, Adekunle Gold said the video which was released at the early hours of Thursday, 17th January 2019 and which had in it moments and scenes from the couple’s secret wedding was made public to share a little bit of the beginning of their forever with their fans.
